Recall or replace a sent email in Outlook

If you have experienced sending a wrong email to someone before, this tip will help you prevent situations like this in the future.


Did you know that Microsoft Outlook has a 'recall and replace' function that allows you to delete or edit your sent email if it has not yet been read?


Remember: This action is available only if the message is not read


Step 1: Go to the Sent Items folder

Step 2: Select the email which you'd like to delete or replace

Step 3: On the Message tab, select the 'Action' option. A drop down list of 'More Actions' appears

Step 4: Click on Recall This Message
